Christian Leadership & the Identity of Christian Hospitals
What makes a Christian hospital recognizably Christian — beyond ownership, history or symbolism?
My current academic interest explores Christian leadership as a potential criterion of institutional identity in Christian hospitals. The topic sits at the intersection of leadership, organizational identity, healthcare and theology and asks how values become visible in everyday organizational practice and decision-making.
What connects these topics?
At first glance, operating room management, nursing science, digital competence, Product Management and theology may appear to have little in common.
How do people, professional identity, organizational structures and technology shape the way we work?
The context has changed throughout my career. The curiosity behind it has remained surprisingly consistent.
