This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, technical access data is processed in order to deliver the website securely and reliably. According to IONOS, this includes the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and an IP address that is anonymized during collection.

The processing serves the security, stability and technical quality of the website. The legal basis for processing under my responsibility is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and technically functional operation of this website. IONOS states that visitor data for Webhosting is retained for eight weeks and is not transferred to third parties or to third countries.

3. IONOS WebAnalytics

IONOS WebAnalytics is enabled as part of the hosting environment and is used for statistical evaluation and technical optimization of the website. According to IONOS, WebAnalytics uses log files or a tracking pixel and does not use cookies. The visitor IP address is transmitted when a page is requested and is then directly anonymized; IONOS states that no personally identifiable visitor data is stored for WebAnalytics.

The information evaluated includes the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and an anonymized IP address. No separate advertising or cross-site tracking technology is integrated into this website.

4. Email contact / Kontakt per E-Mail

If you contact me by email, the information you provide is processed for the purpose of handling and responding to your message. Depending on the context, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where communication relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps.

Email data is retained only for as long as necessary for the respective communication and any applicable legal retention obligations.

5. Cookies and external content

The website itself does not intentionally set non-essential cookies and does not integrate advertising tracking, a contact form or externally loaded web fonts. IONOS WebAnalytics operates without cookies as described above. External services such as LinkedIn are linked rather than embedded; data is transferred to those providers only when you follow such a link.

IONOS SE processes technical data as the hosting provider for operation of the website. Additional personal data may be processed by technical service providers necessary for the email service, acting as processors or independent recipients as applicable.

7. Your rights / Ihre Rechte

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. Where processing is based on consent, consent can be withdrawn for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

8. Third-country transfers

According to IONOS, visitor data processed for Webhosting is not transferred to third countries. The website itself does not intentionally initiate third-country transfers through embedded social media, external fonts or advertising services. A transfer may occur when you independently follow an external link or where another service used for email communication involves such a transfer.

9. Changes to this privacy notice

This privacy notice may be updated if the website, its hosting or the services used change.
